Bhavani Foundation’s 6th Blood Donation Camp – The Noble Deed, To Save A Life.

Blood may not cost a donor, but for a recipient, it can be priceless.

Be a blood donor and save lives!

Today, most medical care depends on a steady supply of blood from donors, as one in seven people entering the hospital need blood. Bhavani foundation organized their much-awaited “6th blood donation camp” on 4th Sept 2021 at the V-Time Square building at Belapur. As Mr. K D Shetty, the Founder was eager about this initiative being the need of the hour.

Under the guidance of Founder Mr. K D Shetty and President Mr. Jeekshith Shetty, the entire team of Bhavani Foundation organized this camp. Mr. K D Shetty, Smt. Sarita K Shetty and other managing committee members were present at the event. Along with a warm welcome, Mr. Jeekshith Shetty gave a brief introduction of all the chief guests present and thanked all the guests, people present, the donors, and the managing committee members for taking out time from their busy schedule in being a part of this event.

Shri. Nilesh Khare – Editor and Business Head of Zee 24 Taas – Zee TV Maharashtra Head, Dr. Bhaskar Shetty – Founder of Deepak Hospital Mira Road, and Shri. Sunil Sutar – BJP Yuva Morcha President of Navi Mumbai were invited as chief guests for this event.

For this initiative, Bhavani Foundation tied up with the NMMC Hospital, Navi Mumbai. Dr. Priyanka was leading the team, she personally appreciated all the enthusiastic donors and was impressed with the arrangements made by the Bhavani Foundation team.

Altogether it was a great experience. Around 250 people voluntarily participated in the event. The managing committee were thankful for every participant in taking out their valuable time and participating. Bhavani Foundation believes blood donation is one of the most important things one can do to help others in need. There is no substitute for blood, as it cannot be manufactured. Thus, donating blood is a way to turn yourself into a life savior as the satisfaction of saving a life is priceless!
